Tonight's Hafla Cancelled

I was really hoping the bad weather would give us a break this evening so we could get together and dance. But -- after holding off this morning -- the sleet's starting again. One of the drummers has already sent his regrets, saying he'll be staying home warm and safe with his family. We will miss seeing all of you, but that is what I hope for you as well ... that you will be warm and safe at home.

      Well, this was to have been in part a sign-up party for classes, which were supposed to start tomorrow. So we won't be rescheduling. But I still want to hold another hafla that's more of a khaleegy dance party. Maybe a little later in the winter or early spring. Stay tuned. Same bat time. Same bat channel.
